Paper Bag Mask Foundation is a Massachusetts-based nonprofit that works to empower individuals affected by mental illness with tools to supplement their treatment, create opportunities to help young adults build confidence through positive coping mechanisms, and put an end to discrimination and stigmas surrounding mental health issues.
As part of EverybodyFights’ Fight It Forward initiative, we had the opportunity to host this incredible organization for a private charity class on Saturday, July 24th at our Seaport location. 20+ fighters, including 8 students, participated in a 10-round BAGS class.
Founder Noah Trofimow says, “One of our goals as an organization is to introduce the public to forms of stress reduction that they may not have tried before. For many participants, myself included, this was a first-time experience that will hopefully be a catalyst in building healthy habits and stress reduction skills.”
