Why I Fight: Reid Eichelberger
Why I Fight: Reid | What’s your name, where are you from, and what do you do?
My name is Reid. I grew up in Wrentham, MA. I’m the AGM, Head Trainer, and Head of Affiliate Sales at Everybodyfights FiDi.
What makes you a fighter?
I’m a fighter because I’ve learned to love working hard for what I want. I enjoy challenges and seek them out. I’m not comfortable until I’m uncomfortable.
What do you fight for?
I fight to be the best me that I can. I fight to inspire those around me. I fight to support and provide for those that I love. I fight every day to make the world a better place.
What inspires you to take the hits and keep on fighting?
The people around me. My family, friends, co-workers and many more inspire me every day to chase my dreams. Many of them have already overcome so much, and many of them continue to endure “taking hits” while they do what they believe in. It’s hard not to feel inspired when you surround yourself with inspiring people.
If you could fight side-by-side with one person, past or present, who would it be?
I would fight side-by-side with Tom Brady, of course. The guy is just an outstanding leader and role model.
What is your Fight Fuel?
My fight fuel is a balanced diet full of mixed nuts, fruits, vegetables, and meats. I drink tons of water. I limit the amount of overly processed carbs and sugars. Big fan of coffee. Big fan of maca powder.
What is your Fight Song?
Since high school, I’ve always loved the song Standing Outside the Fire by Garth Brooks.
What’s your favorite EverybodyFights class?
I love TRAINx360. You get out of the class what you put into it. The harder you work, the harder it gets; it never gets any easier. I also enjoy the exercise variety in each class, from boxing to suspension to kettle bells and rowing.
Who is your favorite EverybodyFights Trainer, and why?
My favorite trainer is Dave Bergeron. He is a longtime friend of mine. We have similar mindsets about exercise and life. Dave certainly knows how to lay down a challenge in the form of a butt kicking class.
How do you Fight It Forward?
I treat everyone I meet with respect, kindness, and appreciation. I maintain a positive outlook and try to spread good vibes and energy everywhere I go.
