FUNdraiser Fight with the Pros

The FUNdraiser Fight with the Pros
to benefit
Horizons for Homeless Children

EverybodyFights. For something. For someone.

On Sunday, May 15th, Horizons, Comcast SportsNet, and EveryBodyFights® will team up to fight to end child and family homelessness. Twelve teams will compete in our inaugural FUNdraiser Fight with the Pros at EveryBodyFights® (15 Channel Center Street). All proceeds will benefit Horizons for Homeless Children. Join us – and Boston sports celebrities like Brian Scalabrine, WEEI personality and former Red Sox legend Lou Merloni, Revolution players Charlie Davies and Teal Bunbury, and current members of the Boston Celtics (playoff participation dependent) – for a fun-filled afternoon for a good cause.

Think you have what it takes to compete? Read on!

What are the team requirements?
Each team requires five (5) members, and is required to raise a minimum of $5,000 by May 9th. Each team will be coached and cheered on by a Boston sports celebrity, assigned the day-of the event. A grand prize (and bragging rights!) will be awarded to the team that raises the most amount of money.

Can my company sponsor my team?
Yes! This is a great opportunity for organizations to promote health and wellness, in addition to philanthropy, to their employees. Sponsorship details are available upon request.

What’s the workout?
BOXFIIT® TRAIN tests your strength, power, endurance, and core all at once in a CIRCUIT environment. A carefully crafted combination of cardio, strength, and boxing training: 12 stations make up the circuit to push you to your limit: Suspension, Rowing, Biking, Kettle Bells, Dumbbells, Boxing, Battle Ropes, Jump Rope, and Turf Exercises. Not a pro athlete, but still interested in competing? No problem! This is a friendly competition for all ages and fitness levels.

What’s the deadline to apply?
All applications are due by Friday, March 25th. These will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so make sure to get your application in soon!
