Triangle, Inc.’s mission is to help people with disabilities live rich and fulfilling lives that include employment, independence, and community engagement. We know that the earlier in life we can work with people, the better their chances of success. For more than two decades, Triangle has partnered with more than 30 public school districts and disability-specific specialty schools to address barriers to success for students with disabilities during a crucial period of development.
Your contributions to this year’s Rally will support Triangle as they deliver employment readiness, self-advocacy, abuse prevention, online safety, and community leadership programming to students with disabilities throughout the Commonwealth. By addressing social and emotional development in addition to the hard skills needed to be job ready, students will gain the tools they need to navigate their communities with confidence.
$20,000 allows us to provide a comprehensive Exploring the Workforce workshop series to 10-12 students at a local school.
$10,000 allows us to provide 10-12 students with abuse prevention, healthy relationship, boundary setting, and self-advocacy classes.
$5,000 can fund training to school faculty on ableism, disability inclusion, and providing accommodations to ensure that school services are attuned to the needs of their students and families.
$1,000 provides up to 20 hours of one-to-one job placement supports to an employment-ready student so that they enter adulthood with a job while pursuing their long-term career goals.
