WHYIFIGHT MATT – Matt’s Fight Story
“As a physician, my whole life is dedicated to helping others, which sometimes leaves my self last. I had always loved boxing and physical fitness but never devoted the time or energy to make it a priority until The Club and Dave Bergeron came along. I can’t begin to tell you how it has changed my life. I now know the hard work and dedication it takes and that hard work and consistency is the only path. I have lost 25 pounds and gained muscle and strength in the process. I can’t wait to step on the rugby pitch and perform at the high level necessary to suceed. My favorite saying is what Dave told me on the first day of training. “Everyday, whether in the gym or out there, always try to be the best version of yourself that you can be” Thanks Dave and Thank you George for an amazing club. ”
WHYIFIGHT MATT – Matt you bring up a great point that many of us miss during the process of paying it forward and giving back to other – Taking care of ourselves! The reality is we are nothing to others, our loved ones and this case your patients unless we are strong physically and mentally ourselves. Being an everyday fighter is finding the confidence and motivation to do what is needed to find balance in our lives to be healthy mentally and physically. The reason we opened the Club is to build a home, a third home beyond work and where you lay your head to focus on YOU and your health and RECHARGE your batteries to be the BEST YOU. Come and see us at the Club and learn like Matt did what it means to be a FIGHTER. #Everybodyfights. Thanks Matt for sharing your story with us and being a member of the Club! We salute you and what you have accomplished thus far and look forward to watching you grow daily, weekly and yearly.
