GREEN MACHINE JUICE FOR FIGHTERS
GREEN MACHINE – This juice is great for fighters that hit the gym early! Kale, spinach, dandelion and most every dark leafy greens are packed with more nutrients than any other food sources.
They’re loaded with iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium and vitamins, K, C, E, and B’s.
Add your favorite fruits to these leafy green super foods for nutrient rich and delicious smoothies. I add aloe Vera and coconut oil to mine.
GREEN MACHINE Juice Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1 orange, peeled, quartered, seeded
- 1 grapefruit, peeled
- 1 green apple, cored, quartered
- 1 cucumber, cut into large chunks
- 1 cup kale, spine removed
- 3 stalks celery
- 1/2 cup parsley
- 2 cups ice cubes
Prepare ahead of time by filling 8oz “screw top containers”. These are available in most supermarkets) and place in the freezer immediately after juicing.
Simply place the frozen container in the refrigerator the night before. The next morning the juice is thawed. Place juice in a blender and add secondary ingredients:
- 1Tbl of ground flax seed
- 1/2 cup of pineapple
- 1 scoop of protein powder
- Add water for desired consistency
